A physical confrontation? But it’s unclear exactly what that means - a match? Charlotte Flair faces Ronda Rousey on night one of WrestleMania 38.

Former WWE star Triple H opened the show with the traditional "Welcome ... to WrestleMania!" growling holler, but his surprise appearance to open the Night 2 was more poignant than that. Riddle returned from the outside, jumped up the turnbuckle and delivered a top-rope RKO on Ford, who bounced out of the ring after impact. With Riddle down after the maneuver, Chad Gable of Alpha Academy climbed the ropes to finish Riddle off only to get caught by Orton mid-flight for an RKO. Orton pinned Gable to end the match and keep the titles with RK-Bro. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will take center stage in the main event in a match to determine the undisputed WWE champion. Riddle and Orton pulled off a synchronized ropes-assisted DDT. The Profits pulled off a sky-high Blockbuster on Gable. But my favorite "wrestling logic" spot in the match was when Dawkins had Riddle pinned and Otis broke up the pin by body splashing onto Dawkins' back. chanting frenzy, as a wild no-DQ, no-countout match reached an incredible crescendo.

Thought on the first night of WrestleMania and a preview for Sunday night's show, Cody Rhodes speaks to the media, attendance figure & more.
Edge and Styles have a lot of pressure to deliver a classic and they should have the time to do it. RK-Bro feuding with a heel version of The Street Profits is a fresh direction with the tease on television of Dawkins & Ford going that route. Lashley is one of the few top babyfaces or heels they have and shouldn’t be sacrificed to Omos, so I see him winning this one, but it begs the question where you go with Omos once he’s been beaten? The women’s four-way seems like a way to get them onto the card and we’ll see if it gets enough time to be anything more than a collection of sequences before the ending. **Cody Rhodes spoke with the media for nearly an hour on Sunday morning at the Axxess Superstore. He is coming back to the company with a high level of confidence, as he should, as a main event player, and noting that he won’t show any fear or be shy about taking chances. It’s a match that Knoxville can win and doesn’t take Zayn down a peg as he’s terrific in this role and gives the character ample ammunition for months of promos complaining about his treatment at WrestleMania. Ultimately, this should end with one of them submitting the other as that was such a focus of the promotion for this match. Although you feel bad for the performers, the show was not hurt by its omission and it was the right call to make if they wanted to be off the air by Midnight ET and not worry about rushing the biggest part of the show with Austin and Kevin Owens. They tore the house down and it could not have been a better execution for the return of Rhodes. He is set to speak on Raw this Monday in Dallas about returning to the company and appears to have a mission statement of winning a championship his father never held. **WWE presented its first night of WrestleMania on Saturday and was a well-received show that one would have to see as a “thumbs up” show given the quality of Seth Rollins vs. **I wanted to mention all of the great reports we have on the site for the WrestleMania Week events.
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar take part in "the biggest WrestleMania match of all-time." Johnny Knoxville and Pat McAfee take to the ring on Sunday.

Burning question over so-called 'biggest WWE match of all-time': WrestleMania 38 live.
This time it’s in what WWE calls ‘the biggest WrestleMania match of all-time’. Winner Takes All match to unify the WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship: Brock Lesnar (c, WWE) v Roman Reigns (c, Universal) For the sixth time in eight years, Universal champion Roman Reigns main events the company’s biggest show, and for the third time is up against WWE champion Brock Lesnar in said main event.
Cody Rhodes got the full big-surprise treatment both in front of the camera and behind the scenes at WrestleMania.
I understand that now as an adult, but as a kid, that was the only reason I ever wanted to get in, so that I could get what he didn’t get.” It was a personal matter and we couldn’t move past it.” They were printed as fact and it’s been a very difficult two months to see that, when the reality is it was just time. “It was such a unique experience.” “You chase ’em, you chase ’em. It’s a moment I’ll never forget.” The former All Elite Wrestling executive vice president was hunkered down in his bus with wife Brandi and young daughter Iris Saturday until it was time to perform.
Wrestlemania 38 comes live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. and we have results from Night 2 of the two-night show right here.
This was a fun opener and the champs retained. Eight matches will headline the grand spectacle in north Texas for Night 2 tonight. Triple H is kicking us off!
Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns finally meet in a winner-take-all match, while Pat McAfee and Johnny Knoxville make their WrestleMania debuts.
With the women's tag team titles on the line, all four teams involved hit a lot of signature moves with a tag-team twist and the momentum of the match swung all sorts of ways. Styles and Edge had one of the most technical matches of the two nights, with tons of submission moves and a clean pace throughout. He also said what happened meant the end of his wrestling career. There were near falls throughout the match, but the fan favorite duo of the veteran Orton and partner Riddle put on a great ending. To say the match between Johnny Knoxville and Sami Zayn was weird is an understatement. The match was full of chaos with little wrestling actually done. With the help of his "Jackass" costars, Knoxville deployed the giant mouse trap against Zayn before pinning him for victory. Butch attacked Woods afterwards, but the entire thing was underwhelming, and the match proved not to be needed at all. Austin got McAfee back into the ring to celebrate and do something the radio host always wanted to do. The crowd couldn't believe McMahon got in the ring, but the match was plagued by interference from Theory, allowing McMahon to punt a football into McAfee and easily getting the pin. He showed he has trained for this moment, delivering suplexes, backflips off the top rope and having the energy a WWE face needs. Austin clearly wasn't done after beating Kevin Owens last night, as he emerged into the ring and got Theory out.
The 76-year-old WWE chairman had his first official match in 10 years as he defeated SmackDown announcer and former Colts punter Pat McAfee in an impromptu ...
It was his first match since a no-contest against CM Punk on “Monday Night Raw” in 2012 and his first at a WrestleMania since he lost to Bret Hart in 2010. He too shared a beer with Austin, and like the two before him, took a Stunner of his own to a roaring crowd. McAfee lost to McMahon’s on-screen protégé Austin Theory in the scheduled match for the event.
The podcast host and retired Indianapolis Colts punter lives out a childhood dream in Westlemania 38. It certainly was eventful.
But "Stone Cold" Steve Austin had McAfee's back — or so McAfee thought. WWE boss Vince McMahon appeared on McAfee's daily show to tell him he would compete in Wrestlemania. On a later "Smackdown" broadcast, Theory revealed he would be McAfee's opponent — and delivered McAfee a slap to the face in the process. The retired Indianapolis Colts punter and podcast host beat Austin Theory. But after the match, WWE chairman Vince McMahon entered the ring and got revenge.
Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 38 to become the undisputed WWE champion.
Riddle returned from the outside, jumped up the turnbuckle and delivered a top-rope RKO on Ford, who bounced out of the ring after impact. Which, again, would make for a compelling story if it wasn't for the fact that the sentient bicep standing across from him nicknamed "The Almighty" is anything but a physical underdog. Early in the match, Zayn found a table under the ring that had a few dozen mouse traps glued to it. Knoxville arrived with a pair of BBQ tongs to Sami's most sensitive of areas, and hurled Sami onto the aforementioned mouse trap table. The match was a series of McAfee spots with Theory getting offense in the interim. Sasha Banks pinned Carmella and her glittery mask to give The Boss and Naomi the women's tag-team titles. Edge's arrival, meanwhile, was like if Triple H joined The Brood, complete with a rising throne and pulsating flames. The finish saw Sheamus deliver a Brogue Kick to Woods with Kingston out of the ring, giving the legal man Holland the edge and, after a Northern Grit, the pin. The fans continued signing the chorus to that entrance music in between chants of "McAfee!" and derogatory ones aimed at Theory. The crowd went wild, singing "Seven Nation Army" as McAfee posed on the turnbuckles and McMahon consoled Theory. During one recent broadcast, he attacked a car containing Reigns and the Usos with a forklift. Reigns delivered a low blow and then hit Lesnar with the Universal title belt.
