As entertaining as RK-Bro is as an act, you get the sense that WWE is getting antsy to break them up for a less entertaining feud. I'll side with Edge, hesitantly, but am rather confident that this will be Match of the Night. Pick: Edge wins -- Mahjouri Reigns can get his win over Lesnar down the road in the inevitable fourth Lesnar vs. Alpha Academy should have been afforded the opportunity for a longer Raw Tag Team title run, but Orton and Riddle were quick to reclaim their crowns. McAfee is so beloved by fans that it's hard to see him losing to Austin Theory, who has plenty of time in his career to recover from a loss to a pro-athlete-turned-commentator. He won't have that benefit against fellow heavyweight Lashley. "The Almighty" is coming off a recent WWE championship reign, has a winning MMA record and muscles for days. Pick: Sasha Banks & Naomi win the titles -- Shakiel Mahjouri Lashley is returning from several months on the sidelines and his return should result in a win. If there's any out here, it may be in finding the cheapest way for Lashley to lose, which could come down to MVP turning on him and moving on to manage Omos. That would benefit the monster by giving him someone who can work the mic and extend the program with Lashley for a while. Zayn is exactly the right kind of heel to lose this match and have that loss be a benefit in building him up. You would hope that WWE would not go so far as to have a quality superstar like Zayn take the L for "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville. The no-disqualification stipulation should present opportunities for run-ins and fun stunts from other stars from the film franchise. It's undeniably the right move to have Knoxville get the win.

WWE will surely want fans watching for the celebrity appearances to stay for the Lesnar-Reigns match, but that doesn't entirely explain it. Who knows if Brock Lesnar continues to be a regular character on television between now and the run-up to SummerSlam this summer. Multiple reports indicate that Cody Rhodes is soon to return to WWE. Would this be the time? Roman Reigns has firmly established himself as the top character in the business. The Monday Night Messiah fought for weeks on Raw trying to earn a spot in a WrestleMania match to no avail. All three tag teams are doing some of their best work. Each match has something or someone fans want to see. Lynch, as the Raw Women's Champion, has been really good as an arrogant character, while Belair continues to improve. But you'd like to see more substance in Sunday's undercard. Rousey surprised with her ring work during her first run, but she hasn't had an opportunity to show what she can do in a big match since her return in January after three years off. Ronda Rousey seems better on paper, but the two have had some awkward physical interactions leading into this weekend. Bianca Belair inside the ring.

Pick: Ronda Rousey wins the title -- Brookhouse Pick: Ronda Rousey wins the title Between E's injury, the sloppy inclusion of Butch, and the New Day reunion angle, all signs point to a fan-friendly victory for Kingston and Woods. Pick: The New Day wins -- Mahjouri It also wouldn't hurt Lynch to leave TV for a bit and retool her on-screen character because she's lost a lot of the magic that had made her such a force in the past. The only surprise here would be if Rollins' mystery opponent is not a returning Cody Rhodes. It will be, though, and with that in mind, there should be no mystery on the winner. There is no reality in the sprawling multiverse cruel enough to subject WWE fans to a Logan Paul victory at WrestleMania. Rey Mysterio is one of pro-wrestling and sports entertainment's most enduring good guys. Those two factors should be enough to say "The Mysterios get the win." It'd be easy to say the presence of Butch at ringside will tilt the scales the direction of Sheamus and Holland. But WrestleMania is generally about feel-good moments and putting the fan-favorite team over in an otherwise meaningless midcard match is a good play to continue that tradition. The Usos have been a fundamental component of SmackDown as record-setting SmackDown Tag Team champions alongside record-setting Universal champion Roman Reigns. Based on recent booking, the WWE seems to believe in Boogs (despite the team's presentation as somewhat of a comedy act). Nakamura is also coming off a recent Intercontinental title run and could be seen as a viable tag team champion. Nakamura and Boogs are an act WWE seems to like but it's hard to ignore that Nakamura had a recent 182-day run with the intercontinental championship and only defended the belt once between winning and losing the title. A feud with Corbin and Madcap Moss that has stretched on for months is, of course, a large step back from previous WrestleManias for McIntyre. Still, it's obvious WWE still sees him as a guy who belongs in the main event, so the Corbin rivalry has been a way to keep the Scot on television until it's time to be elevated again. The entire build to McIntyre vs.
WWE is billing Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns as “the biggest WrestleMania match in history” and that doesn't even seem like much of an exaggeration.
With Styles signing with WWE in 2016 and Edge coming out of retirement in ’20, the two will meet in a one-on-one match for the first time. Reigns is the focal point of WWE right now and is going to main event WrestleMania every year for the foreseeable future. The issues between Zayn and Knoxville began when Zayn took exception to Knoxville being an entrant in this year’s Royal Rumble match. The purpose of this match is just to get more people on the WrestleMania card. Following his appearance in the Royal Rumble, this will be Knoxville’s second-ever match. A finish where Heyman interferes, gets laid out with an F5 by Lesnar, and the distraction causes Reigns to win would make sense. As the babyface, Lesnar vanquishing Reigns and finally getting payback on Heyman is what would traditionally be the most logical outcome. It’s the two biggest stars in WWE right now facing off in a winner-take-all match to unify the WWE championship and universal championship. He defeated both Daniel Bryan and Edge in the main event of WrestleMania last year, stacking them on top of each other and pinning them at the same time. A pair of celebrities will also be in action on Night 2. The current babyface, cowboy hat-wearing version of Lesnar has been so much fun to watch, and Reigns and Paul Heyman are fantastic villains to oppose him. Lesnar and Reigns have been built up so strongly that it’s hard to see where either character goes if they lose this feud.

Boogs' right leg gave out as he tried to pick up Jey and Jimmy Uso, and him never returning even on the side of the ring indicated the injury was serious. The crowd was into it the entire match, but Belair hit the K. O.D. to pull off the victory and send the crowd into a frenzy. The Miz wound up getting the win for the duo, but Paul had some bright moments and certainly has a future in WWE should he wish to pursue one. It was much speculated, but the crowd erupted into a frenzy when Rhodes' music hit the speakers of AT&T Stadium and he walked down to the ring. The match had an electric feel to it from the start, and both superstars showcased why they are both two of the biggest names in the women's division. After the realization of Rhodes' return sunk in, the match between him and Rollins showed how Rhodes had made a name for himself.

Rousey returned in January from a three-year hiatus, winning the women's Royal Rumble match and locking in her spot at WrestleMania. She immediately entered a feud with Flair that culminated in Saturday's match. Rousey attempted to revive the referee, opening herself to a big boot from Flair that spelled doom for the ex-UFC star. Flair avoided or interrupted armbar and ankle locks from Rousey; meanwhile, Rousey becomes the first superstar to ever escape Flair's Figure Eight finishing maneuver.
However, Flair had other things in mind as she upset Rousey to hand the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion her first defeat in one-on-one competition.

Stone Cold Steve Austin defeated Kevin Owens in a No Holds Barred match, and Cody Rhodes returned to the WWE.
The issue was the crowd didn't seem to know how to react. While she was distracted, Charlotte surprised her with the Big Boot for the win. First, she landed a Piper's Pit and the ref counted to 3, but rescinded the call after he noticed Charlotte had her foot on the ropes.
Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch stole the show but Austin provided a lasting memory.
As a purely "special moment" that played to the fans and the "big moments" of WrestleMania, it was fantastic. As Rousey attempted to revive the referee, Flair hit her with a big boot to pick up the win. Flair blasted Rousey with a right forearm to the side of the head and locked in a variation of a dragon sleeper before an arm throw by Rousey and a knee to Flair's face for a near fall. Rousey finally locked in the ankle lock but Flair was able to escape the hold and nearly score a pin before Rousey countered with an armbar and pulled Flair face-first into the bottom turnbuckle. Rousey came back with fire, going at Flair with a big judo throw and then locking up a reverse triangle choke in the ropes before Flair was able to take over with an attack on the ring apron. Rousey again went for an armbar, setting up a scramble of reversals before Rousey was able to lock in the ankle lock again. The match became a war of convincing near falls, with Rollins hitting a pedigree and having Rhodes kick out before screaming that Rhodes was in his house and his company. Belair placed Lynch on her shoulders in a fireman's carry and took her to the second rope before dropping her on the top rope. Rhodes would respond by hitting Cross Rhodes twice before a bionic elbow and one final Cross Rhodes to pick up the win. The Guerreros responded by hitting Paul with a tandem 619 but they missed a blind tag by the Miz, who was able to sneak into the ring and hit a Skull-Crushing Finale on Rey to get the win. Lynch again went for the Manhandle Slam but Belair kicked off the turnbuckle into a backflip to escape before hitting the K.O.D. to get the win. Corbin was able to cut off the comeback fairly quickly when he scored a near fall off a Deep Six. Momentum continued to swing before McIntyre set up for the Claymore only for Moss to pull Corbin from the ring for the save.

Former WWE star Triple H opened the show with the traditional "Welcome ... to WrestleMania!" growling holler, but his surprise appearance to open the Night 2 was more poignant than that. Riddle returned from the outside, jumped up the turnbuckle and delivered a top-rope RKO on Ford, who bounced out of the ring after impact. With Riddle down after the maneuver, Chad Gable of Alpha Academy climbed the ropes to finish Riddle off only to get caught by Orton mid-flight for an RKO. Orton pinned Gable to end the match and keep the titles with RK-Bro. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will take center stage in the main event in a match to determine the undisputed WWE champion. Riddle and Orton pulled off a synchronized ropes-assisted DDT. The Profits pulled off a sky-high Blockbuster on Gable. But my favorite "wrestling logic" spot in the match was when Dawkins had Riddle pinned and Otis broke up the pin by body splashing onto Dawkins' back. chanting frenzy, as a wild no-DQ, no-countout match reached an incredible crescendo.
Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns finally meet in a winner-take-all match, while Pat McAfee and Johnny Knoxville make their WrestleMania debuts.
With the women's tag team titles on the line, all four teams involved hit a lot of signature moves with a tag-team twist and the momentum of the match swung all sorts of ways. Styles and Edge had one of the most technical matches of the two nights, with tons of submission moves and a clean pace throughout. He also said what happened meant the end of his wrestling career. There were near falls throughout the match, but the fan favorite duo of the veteran Orton and partner Riddle put on a great ending. To say the match between Johnny Knoxville and Sami Zayn was weird is an understatement. The match was full of chaos with little wrestling actually done. With the help of his "Jackass" costars, Knoxville deployed the giant mouse trap against Zayn before pinning him for victory. Butch attacked Woods afterwards, but the entire thing was underwhelming, and the match proved not to be needed at all. Austin got McAfee back into the ring to celebrate and do something the radio host always wanted to do. The crowd couldn't believe McMahon got in the ring, but the match was plagued by interference from Theory, allowing McMahon to punt a football into McAfee and easily getting the pin. He showed he has trained for this moment, delivering suplexes, backflips off the top rope and having the energy a WWE face needs. Austin clearly wasn't done after beating Kevin Owens last night, as he emerged into the ring and got Theory out.

Knoxville had some help from his 'Jackass' co-stars and a human-sized mouse trap to get the win.
As pure spectacle, the match was a complete success after a months-long build that saw Zayn crash the "Jackass Forever" premiere and Knoxville releasing Zayn's phone number. Zayn would be placed in the trap and, after a moment of trouble springing the trap, the contraption was used to capture Zayn and set him up for the pin. There were plenty of questions about how Johnny Knoxville's WrestleMania 38 match with Sami Zayn would play out.
Roman Reigns decisively defeats Brock Lesnar, and Vince McMahon wrestles an impromptu match.
Grabbing a microphone, he said he wanted to thank the crowd and welcomed them to WrestleMania. From there it was all teams hitting huge tandem offense on each other, including a crazy Blockbuster from the Street Profits. Orton tried to RKO Dawkins, but Dawkins pushed him off into the ropes and then planted Orton with a spinebuster. Austin hit a huge Stunner on Austin Theory, and it was just McMahon and Austin in the ring. Edge's entrance was awesome, rising to the stage in a throne with flames engulfing the background. The New Day hit a nice flurry of offense on Ridge Holland, then Xavier blasted Sheamus to the outside. Theory tried to do a Superplex, but in an impressive athletic display McAfee backflipped off the top rope and landed on his feet. McMahon then hit a few weak clotheslines on McMahon and threw him into the turnbuckle. After Theory got some heat on McAfee, McAfee bumped Theory to the outside, strapped on the announcer's headphones and did some commentating as he beat Theory about. It's hard to say this wasn't a disappointment, literally billed as the biggest WrestleMania match of all time but it was far from even being the best match between Reigns and Lesnar. Now that Reigns has beaten Lesnar clean in the middle of the ring, the question is what's next? With the ref down, Reigns hit Lesnar with a low blow and then got the title from Heyman and smashed Lesnar with it, a callback to their finish at Crown Jewel last year. Reigns Speared Lesnar from the back -- which actually looked like a botch -- then hit him with another Spear, but Lesnar countered it into a Kimura Lock. Reigns did a great job selling it. The big surprise from the show was an impromptu wrestling match pitting Vince McMahon against Pat McAfee. It was grim, but lead to a great segment involving Stone Cold Steve Austin doing his thing.
Sunday's action featured Roman Reigns defeating Brock Lesnar and extending his historic championship reign, a dream match between Edge and A.J. Styles and a ...
Reigns bested Brock Lesnar in the main event on Sunday night for his first win over the now former champion at WrestleMania.
Reigns hit Lesnar with a low blow and Heyman gave him the universal championship, which Reigns used to hit Lesnar and score a two count. McAfee hit one of his trademark spots, landing on his feet on a backflip off the top rope before leaping back to the top rope and hitting Theory with a superplex. Lesnar went for another F-5 only for Reigns to slide out, shoving Lesnar into the ropes and allowing Reigns to hit one final spear for the finish. The finish was pretty sudden and the match was a bit lacking in the overall drama compared to previous Reigns and Lesnar contests. After the match, McAfee taunted McMahon, leading McMahon to take off his jacket and his shirt, striping to a tanktop and bringing a referee to the ring. Lashley then hit a spear to the back and another spear from the front to score the pin. Austin Theory: McAfee got off to a hot start with spinning elbows and ranas to keep Theory on the defensive. Edge: Edge took a smug approach to the start of the match, disrespecting Styles before Styles hit a dropkick and several arm drags to get off to a hot start. Zayn used a baking sheet and a crutch to hit Knoxville across the back before pulling out a table from under the ring. Riddle took out Ford with a springboard RKO as Ford was on the top rope and Orton hit Gable with an RKO of his own as Gable came off the top rope, scoring the win. Styles drove Edge into the ring apron with a superplex, nearly resulting in a double count out but Styles hit a springboard 450 when Edge got back in the ring, resulting in a near fall. In the main event, WWE champion Brock Lesnar clashed with Roman Reigns in a bout to unify WWE's top two championships.
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon kicked the Attitude Era for the WWE in their hotly contested feud that lasted from 1997-2001.
McMahon and Theory were celebrating when Austin's music came out and the crowd at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas went crazy. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon kicked the Attitude Era for the WWE in their hotly contested feud that lasted from 1997-2001. They banged cans, and Austin hit one more Stunner for the road.
Reigns became both WWE and Universal champion, solidifying his spot as one of the industry's top performers.
Frustrations to the night included the decision to have Sheamus and Ridge Holland defeat The New Day. Initially slated to take place on Saturday night, this was rushed, clocking in at just over seven minutes. An unexpected pin fall was Bobby Lashley pinning Omos. An interesting dynamic was at play in the match—the 7’3” Omos has seized the role as WWE’s unstoppable giant and there are obviously big plans for him, but Lashley is still a headline act for the company. Considering the difficulty involved in building a new babyface star, this was a great first step for Steveson. This marked Reigns’s sixth time in the main event of WrestleMania, with five for Lesnar. It was also their third time working a WrestleMania main event together. Chad Gable has finally found a place to thrive in WWE with his current character, and no one hits a better Northern Lights suplex. Austin celebrated in the ring with his Broken Skull IPAs, stunning McAfee in a picturesque manner to close out the scene. Featuring RK-Bro, The Street Profits and Alpha Academy, the opening match was a true showcase. The aftermath was a page out of WWE history, as Vince McMahon challenged McAfee to a match. Edge and Priest then revealed their alliance after the match, which has plenty of potential. With Theory playing the role of both Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco, McMahon pinned McAfee courtesy of a score of outside interference. He welcomed the crowd to WrestleMania, then left the ring—where a pair of his boots were left behind, signifying the end of his career. The Undertaker was given another sendoff, symbolizing the end of an era.

From there it was all teams hitting huge tandem offense on each other, including a crazy Blockbuster from the Street Profits. Orton tried to RKO Dawkins, but Dawkins pushed him off into the ropes and then planted Orton with a spinebuster. The match between McMahon and McAfee was embarrassing, as McAfee looked like such a chump losing to McMahon and having to sell clotheslines and the like. Edge's entrance was awesome, rising to the stage in a throne with flames engulfing the background. Theory tried to do a Superplex, but in an impressive athletic display McAfee backflipped off the top rope and landed on his feet. It's hard to say this wasn't a disappointment, literally billed as the biggest WrestleMania match of all time but it was far from even being the best match between Reigns and Lesnar. In fact, this was the shortest of the pair's WrestleMania matches. Reigns delivered a low blow and hit Lesnar with a title belt. The punches were stiff, and the moves were crisp. Lesnar was a hard-hitting affair, with each guy bringing out the heavy artillery.
