Arkansas COVID-19 cases increased by 556 over the last seven days, according to the Arkansas Department of Health website update on Tuesday.

The last weekโ€™s count averages to about 79 new cases per day in the state. Arkansas is averaging just 3 cases per 100,000 residents over the last two weeks. The state lists 373,166 people as partially immunized, and 1,582,114 individuals as fully immunized.

Henderson County at center of COVID-19 uptick in Western ... (The Gleaner)

Henderson County had 43 of the seven-county district's 61 new COVID cases in this week's report from the Green River District Health Department.

Only one county in the state are yellow for medium risk. According to new masking guidelines from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, COVID levels in all U.S. counties are now classified as low, medium or high. The school system has said that its mask policy is driven by data and therefore subject to change. There have been 1,319,472 cases of COVID-19 in Kentucky since the pandemic began, with 15,200 known COVID-related deaths. Hancock County is also orange at 13.1. The other five counties within the GRDHD remain at "yellow" for moderate risk. The deaths were two residents of Daviess, one from Henderson and one from Ohio County.

Riley County Weekly COVID Update 4/13/22 (1350kman.com)

The Riley County Health Department says its identified 15 new COVID-19 cases and eight additional recoveries in the past week.

Instead of expiring on Monday, masks are required in airports and buses through May 3rd. The latest report out Wednesday showed health officials are aware of 18 known active COVID-19 cases in the county.
