Warriors make changes as goal line defence expected to be tested ... (Stuff.co.nz)

Warriors assistant coach Justin Morgan says defence inside the red zone has been impressive this year and that's down to the players' attitudes.

So we're asking you to support us with more than your attention. “They’re putting themselves under a huge amount of stress physically to do that. When we do, we’re confident we can turn that into points.” But he says, coaching and defensive structures can only achieve so much. “It will be a massive test for us against Melbourne, they’ve got a lot of threatening players in Jahrome Hughes, Cameron Munster, Harry Grant and others, so we’ll have to be at the best we’ve been all year in that area to repel them, but the players should be proud of the work they’ve put in and the attitude they’ve brought to defending their goal line.”

NRL LIVE: Warriors hoping to spoil Storm's dominant ANZAC Day ... (Fox Sports)

The Warriors haven't won their traditional ANZAC clash against the Storm for seven years, with their last victory coming in 2014.

The Warriors will get a huge boost with front row enforcer Matt Lodge slotting into the side after missing a week due to a side strain. The 27-year-old has been on fire so far this season and will be hoping to continue his dominance against the Warriors. While the New Zealand side will be hoping for an upset, that result looks unlikely due to one damning stat.

Coates scores four as Storm notch 60-point win over Warriors (NRL.COM)

Melbourne have put an injury-hit Warriors side to the sword with a comprehensive 70-10 win at AAMI Park on Monday night.

It's not a reflection of all the players, we had players working extremely hard and put themselves on the line but when you're playing against the best teams and don't have the ball, the best players can not look good. "Some people [gave up], I've been in this game for a long time and it's disappointing to sit here and say that but some people looked for the easiest way out they could and that's sad. We didn't let them score a try in the second half. "It was quite unbelievable in the second half, they obviously had a few injuries which helps a little bit. I don't really know what to say, it's nice to score some points and also a privilege to play on this special day." - It was the third time the Storm have put 50 points on the Warriors in the ANZAC clash, while the 70 points was the highest the Warriors have ever conceded by the club.

Melbourne Storm belt New Zealand 70-10 in NRL Anzac Day rout (ABC News)

On the back of a staggering 13 tries — including 10 in the second half — the Storm destroy the Warriors in a 70-10 Anzac Day rout in Melbourne.

In that half they were hurt by two runaway tries by the Storm with the first coming as the Warriors were set to score in the seventh minute. But that was all the Warriors fans had to celebrate as their game completely fell apart in the second half with Melbourne scoring 10 unanswered tries. The superstar fullback scored twice in the space of five minutes in the second half to break the back of the Warriors and put the game out of reach.
