KUALA LUMPUR: Negri Sembilan topped the Super League table after beating Sarawak United 2-1 in Kuching yesterday.
Kedah had grabbed a 2-1 lead in the first half with goals from Ronald Ngah (20th) and Syafiq Ahmad (37th) sandwiching Negri, who were promoted to the Super League this year, retaliated with two goals, courtesy of a Herold Goulon penalty in the 64th minute and though Matheus Alves in the 69th minute. And the Deer did it the hard way, coming from behind after Sarawak had struck first in the 51st minute through Boris Kok.
