On Monday, the royal treatment was laid out for the team in Madrid and the CABs returned the favour with a haka. The team has a big band of supporters travelling with them. The following day he caught up with his old Paris team.

Spain finish the stronger in defeat but Classic All Blacks prove too smart overall in match played in front of record crowd.

A crowd of more than 40,000 waited expectantly for the home side's comeback against the ageing stars coached by Tana Umaga and with Dan Carter and Sean Fitzpatrick watching closely from the sideline. Donald and company built up a strong lead at the home of football powerhouse Atletico Madrid, with Andre Taylor, Alex Tulou and Isaac Boss scoring early tries. The Classic All Blacks, featuring World Cup winners Stephen Donald and Conrad Smith in their starting line-up, have shown they still have what it takes - beating Spain 33-26 at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid.

The Classic All Blacks have triumphed over Spain by 33-26 in an entertaining showcase at Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid.

With over 40,000 fans flocking to Wanda Metropolitano Stadium, a new Spanish record was set for an international match and although the accuracy wasnโ€™t always there, the rugby at times made for sublime viewing. The ball was then swung left where Jarred Hoeata threw a fine dummy and cantered away. Instead, the All Blacks attacked from a quick lineout and again found themselves within touching distance of the try-line.
