“When it came to his health, he used to start out well and then life would get in the way, and he’d stop – like many of us. And that’s exactly what Dad would have wanted – the most important thing for him was to be here with his family. He came home and spoke about it, but we never really took it seriously until we saw the show. On the reality show, he wanted to promote better mental and physical wellbeing for Pacific people. And those articles are free. “We were very emotional because we didn’t expect Dad to be that transparent in front of people and cameras, and for him to be vulnerable about his business and his health.”
