I'm super proud and honoured to get the opportunity to do that on a show like this. Shooting out on the water is a little bit of a challenge for the crew, but it was an awesome experience. It's such a huge thing too and I think the things that are shown on the show are nice little snippets of a very big world that's very rich. Home and Away's Nikau Parata has been on a spiritual journey in recent months, leaning into his Mฤori heritage. "I got lots of messages on social media that were really supportive which was lovely," he shared. I feel there's a bit of it on there now, it's a nice little insight into what our culture has to offer.
