But according to the game's director, Iwata, the team did originally want to bring those past characters to Three Hopes too, but everyone eventually decided “to focus on just Three Houses and create a story that could have plausibly happened in that world". Hayashi: Development started on Fire Emblem: Three Houses just about as soon as it ended on Fire Emblem Warriors. Once that was over, we decided that since our three companies had worked together for so long and begun to understand each other’s ways of thinking, we wanted to make a sequel to Fire Emblem Warriors. We originally called it Fire Emblem Warriors 2 as a placeholder name and discussed various directions we could take it in, and we decided on making a Warriors title in the world of Three Houses with the current staff involved because of its good reception and because the setting that our companies collaborated to make was one of its strengths. Hayashi and the team concluded that due to the popularity of Three Houses, making a follow-up of sorts would make the most sense.
New Zealand Warriors have re-signed hooker Freddy Lussick until the end of the 2024 NRL season.

June saw the Warriors go three from three in Betfred Super League following their Challenge Cup Final win at the end of May. Wigan came from behind in a ...
Here's everything you need to know ahead of Wigan Warriors Women's Betfred Women's Super League match against Leeds Rhinos Women.
“It was a good crowd last week and I know the girls appreciate all the encouragement. We have prepared by working on the areas that let us down in our last game. Finally, on this week’s game, Ratcliffe said: “Leeds will be a very similar challenge to York in that they have a solid pack who work really hard and are clever around the ruck. That approach will certainly benefit them and us in seasons to come, you only have to look at how Kaitlin Hilton has kicked on for us this year after the same process last year.” Speaking to wiganwarriors.com, Women’s boss Kris Ratcliffe gave his thoughts on last weekends game: “Last week was another example of us playing tough and determined in the first half and dropping off in the second. Leeds have the share of victories, with Wigan’s last win over the Leeds side coming in the 2018 Women’s Super League Grand Final.
The Golden State Warriors have lost key role player Gary Payton II to the Portland Trail Blazers — despite the fact that the team could have paid Payton ...
Unlike the situation with Payton, the Warriors did not have Porter's early Bird rights, meaning their options for retaining Porter were more limited. Payton — an elite, versatile defender who also has offensive upside — is undoubtedly a player the Warriors would want to keep. Yes, paying Payton would have resulted in an additional luxury tax penalty, but the Warriors are bringing in so much revenue these days they may soon surpass the New York Knicks as the NBA's most valuable franchise.
The Golden State Warriors lost out on Gary Payton II and will likely watch Otto Porter Jr. leave as well. This is one name they should look into adding.
Gallinari, on the other hand, will, like Porter Jr., have a plethora of suitors. The Spurs will likely be tanking their way to a top pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He hauled down 4.7 rebounds per game as well. Former Hawks forward Danilo Gallinari, who spent the bulk of his prime with the Denver Nuggets, would be a quintessential addition. Gallinari averaged 11.7 points per game last season and shot 38% from deep. He would only be a necessary signing if the Dubs did lose out on the race for Porter Jr., a player expected to have a widespread interest around the NBA. Porter Jr. signed last offseason for the veteran’s minimum.
Payton had signed with the team at the end of the 2020-21, but the Warriors risked any of the other teams signing GPII in order to sign him to a new deal that ...
Even though GPII is a core piece, and 34-year-old Steph Curry is still in his prime, and we heard for weeks about how profitable the Warriors’ title run was for ownership, we now know there is a cap on what Lacob and Guber will spend. Gary Payton II simply played winning basketball all season long, and that was never as apparent as in Game 5 against the Nuggets, when GPII made play after play in the 4th quarter to close out the series. In the clinching game of the Finals, Payton was a team-high +18 in his 20 minutes, and was on the floor until the literal last minute of the game. But this is the first time in memory that the Warriors outright cheaped out on an important player while trying to win championships. And even though he was only 6’3”, Payton was going to jam on other players a lot. With Kevon Looney also unsigned, and their need to re-sign or replace Otto Porter Jr., the deal was too onerous for the Dubs, and thus they lost one of the NBA’s best perimeter defenders.
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – JUNE 13: Golden State Warriors' Gary Payton II (0) is all smiles as they defeat the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of the NBA Finals ...
His reinsertion into the lineup in the NBA Finals was critical in the Warriors winning their fourth championship in eight years. But Payton II is one of those players. It’s Morant’s explosive first step that sent Wiggins spinning — few players have that kind of burst off the line. The Dubs just made repeating harder on themselves. The second most important thing is perimeter defense. So little was expected from him, but so much was given.
Golden State Warriors fans reacted to losing Gary Payton II to the Blazers in NBA free agency over luxury tax concerns.
We’ll see if they’re willing to pay up for Kevon Looney. That’s why some Dubs fans have reached this point, where they don’t care about the luxury tax bill, as astronomical as it is. — Sean Jordan (@BaySean)July 1, 2022 He only played 17.6 minutes per game but averaged 7.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game while knocking down 35.8 percent of his 3-pointers: — Brian Witt (@Wittnessed)July 1, 2022 The Golden State Warriors lost guard Gary Payton II to the Portland Trail Blazers in NBA free agency.
The Golden State Warriors were unable to retain free agent Gary Payton II as planned, with the 29-year-old guard bolting for a deal with the Trailblazers.
As the 30th pick in the draft seven years ago, the way he’s developed, the way he’s worked, the way he has become such a big part of our internal leadership and our fabric, he’s a huge component to our success.” “I think he wants to stay with the Golden State Warriors and I think the Warriors want to stay with him. The Warriors have been clear that they’re willing to spend an exorbitant about to retain a championship roster. Just prior to the report of Payton’s new deal, The Athletic reported the sides were “apart” in negotiations. He shot 61.6 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from 3-point range and proved to be a top-notch perimeter defender. Payton is coming off a breakout season with the Warriors where he emerged as a key piece of the rotation, starring in his role.
In less than 24 hours, the Warriors have lost both Gary Payton II and Otto Porter Jr. What does that means for their free agency outlook?
But replacing a core advertised as the future of the organization is easier said than done. Drafting well and developing that talent is arguably something Golden State does better than anyone else in the NBA. The son of an NBA great made his career in Golden State, where he received an opportunity in the G League and made the most of it.
When the Warriors selected Moody with the No. 14 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, the freshman out of Arkansas was seen as the more pro-ready prospect between ...
The expectation already was that Moody would take a leap and see his role expand in Year 2. Moody was praised all season long for his poise, maturity, work ethic and being able to stay ready as a rookie. His impact was seen more than ever when the Warriors almost pulled off a wild 29-point comeback against the Mavs in Game 4 with the backups and role plays taking over. Not everything is seen in the box score, but watching the way he would put a hand in the face of Mavs star Luka Doncic shows how much the little things already matter to him. Where he really stood out was the other side of the ball. Instead of watching Payton guard Portland stars like Damian Lillard and Anfernee Simons up and down the court, now the Warriors will have to face the feisty guard three times a season.
Kevon Looney reportedly is returning to the Bay on a three-year contract worth $25.5 million.
Free agency got off to a rough start for the Warriors, as they watched Gary Payton II, Otto Porter Jr. and Juan Toscano-Anderson find new homes. Looney averaged 6.0 points and 7.3 rebounds in 21.1 minutes per game during the regular season but played a crucial role as the team's primary rebounder in the playoffs. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Friday, citing sources, that the center agreed to return to the Warriors on a three-year contract worth $25.5 million.
The Warriors still have some work to do on their roster after striking a deal with Looney. The team has lost a pair of key rotation players so far in free ...
Golden State’s projected tax bill figures to be a consideration as the team weighs its options with the taxpayer mid-level exception. Additionally, the third year is only partially guaranteed for $3MM, tweets Anthony Slater of The Athletic. He started 80 of Golden State’s 82 regular season games and averaged 6.0 PPG, 7.3 RPG, and 2.0 APG in 21.1 minutes per contest while playing solid defense.
Three-time NBA champion Kevon Looney is reportedly returning to the Warriors for an eighth season and beyond.
He’s been testing his knee at Summer League practices and hasn’t experienced any setbacks in his recovery since receiving an orthobiologic injection in his arm in April about a month after the Warriors shut him down for the season. He was essential in the Warriors pursuit for their fourth title in eight years. He also scored a career-high 21 points in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, a blowout win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Free-agent center Kevon Looney, whose rebounding prowess helped the Warriors in their run to the NBA title, has agreed to a three-year, $25.5 million deal ...
Throughout last season, and especially in the playoffs, Looney proved to be an elite rebounder -- a skill set Golden State was desperate for. Looney, 27, is coming off a breakout year with the 2022 NBA champion Warriors, who drafted him in the first round in 2015. SAN FRANCISCO -- Free-agent center Kevon Looney has agreed to stay with the Golden State Warriors on a three-year, $25.5 million deal, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on Friday.
Free agent center Kevon Looney has agreed to a three-year, $25.5 million deal to stay with the Golden State Warriors, a league source confirmed to The ...
That’s 104 games total, the most of any player in the NBA this season. Looney entered the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and was able to secure a big pay day this offseason because of his outstanding play throughout the playoffs. While he was in and out of the starting lineup, he averaged 5.8 points on 66% shooting and a team-best 7.6 rebounds per game.
The Golden State Warriors and Kevon Looney have agreed to a three-year, $25.5-million deal, keeping the centre in the Bay Area, according to ESPN's Adrian ...
In the most recent playoffs, Looney averaged 5.8 points and 7.6 rebounds in 20.4 minutes a game. Despite retaining Looney, the Warriors have lost to two other key members of their rotation already this off-season: Otto Porter Jr. (Toronto Raptors) and Gary Payton II (Portland Trail Blazers). The Golden State Warriors and Kevon Looney have agreed to a three-year, $25.5-million deal, keeping the centre in the Bay Area, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Golden State drafted Looney with the 30th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. He dealt with multiple shoulder injuries to start his career, but emerged as a key ...
Playing every game this season meant a lot to Kevon and Doug. We're about to see what it means to the Warriors and the rest of the league. He isn’t a big scoring threat, but his screen-setting, versatile defense and rebounding make him important to the Warriors’ success. Playing every game this season meant a lot to Kevon and Doug. We're about to see what it means to the Warriors and the rest of the league.
After winning the NBA Championship, the Golden State Warriors have already lost two key role players in Otto Porter Jr. and Gary Payton II.
Looney has been a big part of this, and the Warriors are certainly pleased to have him back. Having been with Golden State for much of their dynasty, Looney is a star in his role, and earned this contract extension with the team that drafted him. Often an unsung hero for the Warriors, Looney was a big reason why they were able to run through the Western Conference and win another ring.
The Warriors paid a massive luxury tax en route to the NBA championship. But would they keep spending to maintain their core, particularly Kevon Looney?
There was some though Wiseman might even allow Golden State to let Looney walk. Kevon Looney is returning to the Warriors on a three-year, $25.5 million deal, per sources.@wojespnfirst. Additional details: First year of deal starts around $7 million. That looks like a fair deal for Looney. After seven years with the Warriors, he executes his assignments well. But there’s still time to spend more. Not quite as high as last year, when it was a record-breaking $170 million. But would they keep spending to maintain their roster, particularly starting center Kevon Looney?
On Friday, NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole reported, citing sources, that Bjelica is planning to leave the NBA to pursue playing opportunities overseas.
While Bjelica isn't irreplaceable, his decision means the Warriors lost another role player in free agency. Bjelica went out on top, helping Golden State clinch the 2021-22 title in his lone season in the Bay. Bjelica averaged 6.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 16.1 minutes per game during the regular season. Bjelica, EuroLeague MVP in 2015, played seven seasons in the NBA for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, Miami Heat and Warriors.
Wayde Egan left Auckland with his team-mates for their season opener in 2020 and hasn't been back until this week.
If quality local sport journalism is important to you, become a Stuff supporter today. A beautiful mind crunching all the player stats. “It's been awesome to be around the local people again and interacting with fans on the street. “It's going to be awesome,” Egan said. You need journalists close enough to smell the liniment. You go down to the coffee shop in the morning and there are guys really psyched for the game, so it's a really cool experience.”
After a two and a half year tour of duty playing home games in Australia, the New Zealand Warriors will return to Mt Smart Stadium for a critical match ...
My tip: New Zealand will return home and in a big way, it's been a long and painful two and a half years for the men from Auckland and it'll be an emotional afternoon for the players. Hastings has never given up in a side that has been at times lacking that winning spirit and desire to compete with the top clubs in the NRL. Look for Hastings in this one to try to snap a losing streak and begin a late season surge to climb out of the bottom four on the premiership table. The favourite: New Zealand are the favourites for their return to NZ clash. The start of Brett Kimmorley's coaching tenure hasn't been easy with two heavy losses at the hands of Manly and Canterbury and poor defensive lapses in critical stages has led to the downfall of Noddy's side in the last fortnight. It has been an incredibly challenging period for the Warriors since they've been relocated to Australia. It's been a period which has seen two head coaches sacked, and a new one to be appointed before the year is out. The Warriors will want to show to their supporters the form that saw them knock off those premiership contenders and prove that they can be a late season spoiler for sides trying to make the NRL finals. Who to watch: After shifting from the Roosters a few weeks ago, Ronald Volkman was rewarded with his NRL debut last round. However, they are back at Mt Smart and it's a real opportunity to re-establish their home ground as the fortress it once was a few seasons ago. This time around, New Zealand are the stronger side with a point to prove on their home ground. After two shock wins over Parramatta and Souths, there was signs of renewal but only one win from their next four spelled the end of Michael Maguire's tenure and more boardroom chaos. James Roberts and Stefano Utoikamanu return for the first time in several weeks. They can finally put the off-field politics behind them and play before their fans who have missed out on the chance to watch their local team in person.
The Warriors had to bring back Kevon Looney this offseason, and they got the job done.
He knows the nuances of the game, he knows all the little things that are required out of a champion center. If Wiseman has propelled to a much bigger role by then or Looney, unfortunately, deals with injury issues, this becomes even more of a steal for the Warriors. As the 30th pick in the draft seven years ago, the way he's developed, the way he's worked, the way he has become such a big part of our internal leadership and our fabric, he's a huge component to our success.
And at this publishing time, Kevon Looney still is on the open market. This isn't time to panic. As long as the Warriors still have Steph Curry, Klay Thompson ...
After the promise and potential he showed as a 19-year-old rookie, he figures to be a key part of the Warriors' success and will see a whole lot of playing time. Outside of Looney's return, that's the next challenge for general manager Bob Myers and the rest of the front office right now. There's a handful of those still on the open market. The return of Nemanja Bjelica would help fill the gap of a veteran big/wing who can space the floor. His combination of being a 6-foot-3 guard who can defend multiple positions and is the dunker on offense is unheard of. It calls for two things: A shooting big/wing and more minutes for Kuminga.
Free agent forward Nemanja Bjelica has informed the Golden State Warriors that he's leaving the NBA and will return to Turkey next season.
Along with Bjelica, Golden State has also lost Gary Payton II to the Trail Blazers, Otto Porter Jr. to Raptors and Juan Toscano-Anderson to the Lakers. Although the team was able to retain unrestricted free agent Kevon Looney on a three-year, $25.5 million deal on Friday, the overall depth of the team’s bench has taken a massive hit. The 34-year-old has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with Fenerbahce, a team he played with from 2013-15. Unrestricted free agent Nemanja Bjelica has informed the Golden State Warriors that he’s leaving the NBA and will return to Turkey next season instead of re-signing with the team on a veteran-minimum contract, a league source confirmed to The Chronicle on Friday.
On Friday, NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole reported, citing sources, that Bjelica is planning to leave the NBA to pursue playing opportunities overseas.

And like a great college program, they’re now forced to adjust to a “one-and-done” era. Bjelica seemed to love playing in the Warriors motion offense, and mid-season said, “I enjoy every single day, because finally I found a spot where I feel comfortable and very happy.” One happy element of Bjelica’s creative passing is that he was always ready to catch an ambitious pass from anyone else and finish it home. Another of the Golden State Warriors’ key veterans has left in free agency, with Nemanja Bjelica joining Otto Porter Junior and Gary Payton II in departing the club after winning a title. In a way, the Warriors have become like a great college basketball program. Don’t worry - Joe Lacob has a very generous policy when it comes to Name, Image, and Likeness rights, and the Warriors season-ticket holders/boosters have something even better than free cars: Stock tips about tech IPOs. They’re always going to compete in the post-season, they’ve got a universally-respected coach, a loyal fan base, and they even have a robust alumni program, with former beloved players like Leandro Barbosa and Shaun Livingston getting jobs on the team, and even former unloved players like Mike Dunleavy Jr. sticking around.
After losing out on Gary Payton II and Otto Porter Jr., the Warriors reportedly are adding versatile wing Donte DiVincenzo.
With DiVincenzo in the fold, the front office is almost done re-tooling the roster. As Golden State looks to repeat as champs, DiVincenzo likely will lead the second unit when Steph Curry is on the bench. Earlier on Friday, the Warriors also reportedly agreed to bring back center Kevon Looney on a three-year, $25.5 million contract. His numbers after the midseason trade to Sacramento ticked up to 10.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists in 26.6 minutes over 25 games. DiVincenzo is a career 34.7 3-point shooter but with the Kings, he shot 36.8 percent. Per Charania, the second year of the pact is a player option.
After two and a half tumultuous seasons, New Zealand's only NRL club will finally play a home game at Mt Smart Stadium.
"So to come home is really special. Johnson says while the Tigers will be a challenge, it pales in comparison to what the team has had to deal with over the last two years. "To finally get here and have the boys here is certainly an emotional feeling. "People in the shopping centres and wherever we've gone have been so excited to have us back," he said. The team has been based in Redcliffe, Queensland, since the start of the pandemic and while trans-Tasman travel restrictions have eased this year, the decision was made to stay in Australia until the end of the season. Sixteen rounds into the NRL season, the Warriors host Wests Tigers in what is expected to be an emotional homecoming in front of a capacity crowd.
The Golden State Warriors signed high-flying guard Donte DiVincenzo to a two-year deal with a player option on the second day of the 2022 NBA free agency ...
He also has a lot of defensive potential. He has outstanding athleticism, so the Warriors are likely stoked about how he’ll fit in the offensive system as a cutter, shooter, and transition force. The Dubs reportedly signed DiVincenzo to a two-year deal worth $9.3 million, with a player option in the second year.
Looney, 27, is coming off a breakout year with the 2022 NBA champion Warriors, who drafted him in the first round in 2015. After an injury-riddled career, ...
Throughout last season, and especially in the playoffs, Looney proved to be an elite rebounder -- a skill set Golden State was desperate for. Offseason surgery sidelined him for the start of last season, and he struggled in his return, eventually getting dealt to the Sacramento Kings at the trade deadline. Looney, 27, is coming off a breakout year with the 2022 NBA champion Warriors, who drafted him in the first round in 2015.
With Gary Payton II and Otto Porter Jr. gone, the Warriors made a strong move by reportedly adding Donte DiVincenzo.
Between the Bucks and Sacramento Kings last season, DiVincenzo played 42 games. Donte DiVincenzo has agreed to a two-year, $9.3 million contract with the Warriors, The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Friday, citing sources. He's a former first-round draft pick, college champion and NBA champion with the Milwaukee Bucks. He's 6-foot-4, is only 25 years old and had the top vertical jump measured at the 2018 draft combine.
Golden State is expected to keep its star center in the mix and plans to add the free-agent guard DiVincenzo on a 2-year deal.

Gary Payton II sent segments of Dub Nation into a frenzy with an IG story on Friday but he later clarified it wasn't a shot at the Warriors.
That shouldn't diminish the love that goes both ways. Payton became so valuable to the Warriors for his defense and energy on offense that he was an integral part of their rotation throughout the season. The Warriors, though, brought him back as the 15th man on the roster, signing him for just over $1.9 million.
DiVincenzo has been a high-level starter for the Milwaukee Bucks in the past, and at just 25 years old, he could easily return to being that caliber of player ...
If Moody doesn't develop as much as needed, the Warriors have a veteran they can rely on as they try to defend their championship. If Moody is as good as the Warriors hope, DiVincenzo becomes a luxury pickup. The Kings ultimately elected not to even give DiVincenzo a qualifying offer, instead signing Malik Monk and trading for Kevin Huerter.

Veteran guard Damion Lee became the latest Golden State Warriors free agent to ink a deal...
However, his best moment in a Golden State uniform was arguably his game-winning 3-pointer in a 129-128 triumph over the Chicago Bulls on December 27, 2020. Lee’s highlight from the Warriors’ championship season was a 22-point performance in a win over the Miami Heat on March 23 in a game where Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green rested. Lee becomes the latest role player to leave Golden State in free agency this offseason, joining Gary Payton II, Otto Porter Jr., Juan Toscano-Anderson and Nemanja Bjelica. With Lee’s departure and after the signing of free agent guard Donte DiVincenzo, the team still has two roster spots left to fill.
No team has felt the impact of COVID more than the New Zealand Warriors. Finally, for the first time in more than two years, they will play before a home ...
“There are some stories that are so personal that they will never see the light of day,” George says. Dean Lonergan, the man whose company brought the Nines tournament to Eden Park from 2014-17, was in discussions with the New Zealand government to bring an entire round of the NRL competition to the country. “You talk about people making sacrifices, he has not once refused to be anything but be committed to helping the Warriors.” With nowhere to go, George called in a favour from his mate, Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson. It was the first international flight in history to fly directly into Tamworth. “They were away from partners and kids and so on, and the NRL at the time said, ‘You stay in Australia to keep the competition going. “Some of the blokes have done some huge things in another country, without their family, without much fuss. We knew it was something we had to do and manage as best we could.” “It’s been a huge sacrifice from the club itself. “I hadn’t even heard of COVID before then,” says George, who, like the NRL and everyone else in the world, was trying to come to grips with how the pandemic would impact their lives. “To be honest, it wasn’t much of a choice,” says Harris, who has subsequently gone on to captain the club. Some of the players wanted to go. All eyes were on George as he tried to explain to his players and staff a term he had heard for only the first time earlier that day.

This past season, he played in 63 games and averaged 7.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. During his tenure with Golden State, he averaged 8.1 points and 3.4 rebounds in 20.6 minutes while shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 36.6 percent from 3-point range. The news of his reported deal came as he was still enjoying the Giants game while sitting close to the team's dugout.
Free agent Donte DiVincenzo has reportedly agreed to a two-year, $9.3 million deal with the defending champion Golden State Warriors.
The Villanova product was picked by the Bucks with the 17th overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft. DiVincenzo finished the 2021-22 season with the Sacramento Kings after being dealt midseason by the Milwaukee Bucks. The guard missed the bulk of Milwaukee's 2020-21 championship playoff run after suffering a left ankle injury in the first round against the Miami Heat.
