Jacquline Bublitz's novel Before You Knew My Name received glowing praise from acclaimed author Marian Keyes following its release last May.
“What I realised was because I’d been trying to keep it at a distance, I'd been trying to ‘write’,” she said. Early feedback for the book had been brutal, with one agent calling it “not emotional enough”. Bublitz told Seven Sharp the book is about “taking the focus away from the perpetrator and bringing it back to the victim and the life they had and should have had”.
