The future approaches quickly in the NBA, and the quicker Wiseman and Kuminga can fill a roster spot, the better - just see Jordan Poole. Kuminga has shown promise throughout the season for the Warriors when the team was shorthanded and he appropriately stepped up when needed. Summer League has been a great development period for the Warriors' young players, especially because Wiseman hasn't played in over a year.

The final days before the elimination games in Las Vegas! It's time to continue our NBA odds series with a Thunder-Warriors prediction and pick.

The Warriors come in as the underdog and that is the right call after the three games we have seen so far in Vegas. If their defense improves they will be in this game. He led the team in scoring against the Kings after going (6-11) from the floor and finishing with six rebounds and seven assists. Kuminga has been the star for this team and it still hasn’t resulted in more than one win. With Holmgren blocking the paint, it’s very hard for these young players to score besides the likes of Keegan Murray. Holmgren will be in a similar spot again today as he has to defend Kuminga, who is on a tear right now. The Boston Celtics got the best of the Warriors on Tuesday night when they won 103-92. Seeing Murray and Chet Holmgren go head-to-head is excellent for the future of the NBA. Holmgren only finished with eight points and five rebounds but fouled out after 26 minutes.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will meet the Golden State Warriors in NBA Summer League action on Friday night from Las Vegas.

The 28 teams not playing in the Championship Game will play their fifth game on either July 16 or 17. The top two teams from their first four games will play in the Championship Game on July 17. Meanwhile, Golden State will look to bounce back after a 103-92 loss to the Celtics as they look for their second win of the summer league season.

Jonathan Kuminga led the Warriors with 16 points, four rebounds and five assists. Both sides kept up the effort in the third, while the Warriors trimmed it to a five-point game heading into the final quarter. The game got out to a tight start as the Thunder led 19-18 after one quarter.

McCollum concludes that overall, the game plan is to minimize his open looks because it's not really possible to stop him. "You have to throw different bodies at him; this isn't a guy you can just guard with one person," he said. "It's very tough," McCollum said plainly during the Warriors' final summer league game.
