When Saturn is conjunct to the moon, we can feel the weight of the world on our shoulders. We are in the middle of the lunar cycle that started with the Leo new moon, because Aquarius is opposite Leo. At the focal point of the T-square, we have the North Node (a celestial point relating to our soul’s purpose), Uranus (planet of inspiration and rebellion), and Mars (the planet of will and action). Uranus and Mars are both in Taurus, asking us to take inspired, slow action around our need for security and stability, and even more concretely, our finances. When the moon is in Aquarius, we can feel somewhat detached from emotions and have a desire to retreat from them. Usually, observers in North America could expect to see between 50 and 60 meteors per hour however the full moon will reduce the visibility of meteors to about 10-20 per hour at most according to a statement from NASA (opens in new tab). A supermoon will appear as much as 30% brighter and 14% larger than usual, and while this may sound like a lot, it's very hard to spot such a difference with the naked eye. We have already witnessed three supermoons this year in May, June and July with August's supermoon wrapping things up with the last supermoon of the year.
