CD’s contracted White Ferns: Rosemary Mair (Hawke’s Bay), Hannah Rowe (Manawatū). Hawke’s Bay umpire Glen Walklin was again named CD umpire of the year and, in a season where CD won both the national under-19 titles, Manawatū pair Curtis Heaphy (CD under-19 men’s captain) and Ashtuti Kumar (CD under-19 women) won the premier CD age-group trophies for individual performance. Watkin was named both the Central Hinds player of the year and the one-day Hallyburton Johnstone Shield player of the year, after another strong season with the bat and ball.
