Electric Avenue is the only full festival appearance in New Zealand currently planned by Lorde and is part of a world tour promoting her Solar Power album released last year. There will also be a new 10,000 capacity temporary indoor arena in what will be the eighth Electric Avenue. Also named in the first announcement are Kiwi acts Fat Freddy's Drop, Supergroove and Teeks, as well as a number of other international artists including Peking Duk and Future Islands.
