After crossing over into [Ghost Rider](/category/ghost-rider-comic/) #17 and [Wolverine](/category/wolverine-comic/) #36, the story concludes in Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapons of Vengeance Omega. [Benjamin Percy](/category/benjamin-percy/), the writer of Marvel's ongoing [Ghost Rider](/category/ghost-rider/) and [Wolverine](/category/wolverine/) series, is penning Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapon of Vengeance, which kicks off with a one-shot in August before continuing its stories in both solo books. Do Ghost Rider and Wolverine have what it takes to put them down once more? [Ghost Rider: Vengeance Forever #1](https://comicbook.com/marvel/news/ghost-rider-vengeance-forever-50th-anniversary-one-shot/), from writer Benjamin Percy and artist Juan José Ryp, and a cover by Björn Barends. We'll travel to the far past and the near future, and the frame for all of this involves a new, haunting character known as Necro the Tattooist. "I did so by interweaving a larger story -- about Johnny Blaze in the present-- with smaller stories that spotlight Danny, the Midnight Sons, Ghost Rider 2099, and more, so many and so much more, including never-before-seen iterations of the Spirit of Vengeance.

The solicits for a upcoming issue of Ghost Rider feature the Rider wearing a similar helmet to the one Wolverine wore in the seminal Weapon X story.

[Weapon X also introduced the funky headgear Wolverine](https://screenrant.com/weapon-x-capture-wolverine-adamantium-handcuffs/) wore as a part of his brainwashing/mental conditioning, a look which became so ubiquitous that it was eventually turned into action figures and even appeared in 2016’s X-Men: Apocalypse. Written by Benjamin Percy and with art by Corey Smith, the solicit states that “(another) Ghost Rider is on the loose, leaving behind a wake of fiery destruction and brutality beyond measure!” The solicit also promises the return of ‘90s Ghost Rider Danny Ketch, although whether he’s the aforementioned Rider responsible for all that “fiery destruction and brutality” remains to be seen. Of course, Weapon X is easily one of the greatest Wolverine stories ever told.

The story will kick off in August's Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapons of Vengeance Alpha, with Percy set to team up with artist Geoff Shaw (Guardians of the Galaxy) ...
