New Split Rules on Public Drinking, Dress Code Reach UK Media (Total Croatia News)

A new year and a new approach to improving tourism in Split, and the UK media is spreading the message, as new Split rules for dress and public drinki...

[20 Ways Croatia Changed Me in 20 Years](https://www.total-croatia-news.com/tag/20-years-in-croatia), starting at the beginning - [Business and Dalmatia](https://www.total-croatia-news.com/lifestyle/64215-20-ways-croatia-changed-me). Early days, but it seems that that message is already getting out, with the London Metro among others to report the news. Public drinking will now be fined to the tune of 150 euro, and walking around historic places topless or in swimwear will no longer be tolerated. Back in 2015, some drunken Australian tourists were arrested for climbing onto the roof of Hvar Cathedral, causing some 5.000 kuna of damage. An additional benefit of the new law is that these rules will be enforced by patrolling wardens. Priority number one it is a party place.

Weekly poll results: Motorola's new mid-rangers split opinions (GSMArena.com)

Five new Motos were unveiled last week, but only a few of them have the right mix of specs and price. And it wasn't the Moto G73, surprisingly enough.

It doesn’t cost much, it’s half the price of a G23, and the Android Go Edition software is just what is needed to make cheap hardware run well. It’s even cheaper than the G53 but lacks 5G. Some of the older models cost around the same while offering more premium hardware.

3 Stocks That Are Better Candidates for Stock Splits in 2023 Than ... (Motley Fool)

There's no guarantee these stocks will split this year. But their share prices are certainly high enough to do so.

[NASDAQ: BKNG](/quote/nasdaq/bkng/) [NYSEMKT: SEB](/quote/nysemkt/seb/) [AMZN](/quote/nasdaq/amzn/) -8.43%) 20-for-1 stock split in June. [SEB](/quote/nysemkt/seb/) -1.97%) appears to be another great prospect to conduct a stock split this year. Should you bet on a stock split for NVR, Seaboard, or Booking Holdings? My favorite of the three is Booking. All three stocks have traded at high levels for several years without conducting a stock split. [BKNG](/quote/nasdaq/bkng/) 0.01%) has conducted one stock split in its history -- a 1-for-6 [reverse stock split](https://www.fool.com/investing/how-to-invest/stocks/reverse-stock-split/) back in 2003. The company recently reported that its revenue and earnings soared 22% and 36% year over year, respectively, in the fourth quarter of 2022. NVR ranks as one of the biggest residential homebuilders in the U.S. Here are three stocks that are even better candidates for stock splits in 2023 than Amazon was last year. Several well-known companies conducted stock splits last year.

Australian universities split on decision to adopt controversial ... (The Guardian)

Push by parliamentary MPs to take up IHRA interpretation has been criticised as an 'outright attack on academic freedom'

“Instead, it is a reference for our community members to help understand what may constitute antisemitism,” the university said in a statement. “We look forward to working hand-in-hand … “Some universities have engaged with us on this issue, but others have either refused to acknowledge our correspondence, or misled us.” A spokesperson for the Australian National University said it was “aware” of the IHRA definition and was “giving it due consideration”, while the University of Adelaide said “discussion on this matter will continue”. “[The IHRA] will prevent universities doing what they’re meant to do … University of Wollongong said it adopted the definition in April, and said it would have no impact on “academic freedom and freedom of speech”.
