Even if you found the praise misplaced – declarations that it was the best hour of television ever are baffling – that final point is undeniable: the world of video games and their screen adaptations is not known for its thorough depiction of LGBT characters. The solidly-told sequence, which certainly bore many hallmarks of what good TV is supposed to look like, was praised for its sensitivity, acting, and how it defied expectations of the genre.
