Tolaga Bay

The Gisborne region, already hugely affected by Cyclone Gabrielle, has been shaken by a 4.2 magnitude quake this evening.

The quake occurred at 7.45pm and was centred 25km west of Gisborne at a depth of 22km. In some parts of the region, such as Tolaga Bay evacuations of properties are underway. The Gisborne region, already hugely affected by Cyclone Gabrielle, has been shaken by a 4.2 magnitude quake this evening.
