Chelsea travel to Germany to face a Borussia Dortmund side looking to make the most of home advantage in the Champions League round of 16 first-leg tie.

With so much of Chelsea's season now resting on an extended Champions League run, this has the makings of an enthralling tie, as Dortmund are bound to have other ideas. This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams, with Chelsea undefeated in the last five Champions League games, and they conceded just four goals in their six group games, while Dortmund conceded just one more. Meanwhile, Chelsea's season has developed into something of a nightmare for new boss Graham Potter, whose side sits only in ninth place in the premier league table, 10 points behind the Champions League spots and also with early eliminations from the FA Cup and the EFL Cup.
