Is Princess Anne the coolest royal? Her best moments over the years (Stuff.co.nz)

But Anne broke this tradition, heading to hospital (specifically, the Lindo Wing) to deliver both of her children, Peter and Zara. But she doesn’t just reserve her best moves for her own family. She’s come to be known for a particular accessory – her sunglasses. Like her mother, the Queen, Princess Anne has had a lifelong love of all things equine. Anne rode the Queen’s horse, Goodwill, in the three-day event. Arguably the most infamous incident involving Princess Anne was when she was subject to the first royal kidnapping attempt in 1974.

Princess Anne forced to ignore 'blood Princess' title when it comes to ... (woman&home)

Princess Anne has been forced to ignore her birthright as a Princess when it comes to how she interacts with certain royals.

The current Order of Precedence states that Camilla is at the top of the chain as the wife of the Sovereign and therefore, all women in the Royal Family must curtsy to her and enter a room or event before her. Instead, she is now the seventh most senior woman in the Royal Family according to the Order of Precedence. [Daily Express' Royal Round-Up](https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/1605606/kate-middleton-duchess-of-cambridge-princess-anne-royal-family-rule-vn) (opens in new tab), "The order of precedence came into force. [This is] because Anne is a princess by blood and Kate was not with her husband". This order states that as a sign of respect, seniority dictates how people enter a room, and how they must greet each other with a curtsy or bow. Since the Queen's death, protocol dictates that Princess Anne must now curtsey to Kate Middleton, and enter rooms after she has entered them.

Princess Anne shares personal statement as New Zealand trip ... (HELLO!)

The Princess Royal shared a statement to New Zealanders after the country was hit by Cyclone Gabrielle and an earthquake.

She later attended a Service of Remembrance at Pukeahu National War Memorial in Wellington. She had reportedly been due to visit the Linton Military Camp to mark the Army's Royal New Zealand Corps of Signals' 100th anniversary celebrations, in her role as Colonel-in-Chief. A national emergency has been declared in New Zealand after widespread damage from Cyclone Gabrielle. Anne's last visit to the country was in 2010, while Charles and Camilla, then the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, were the last royals to travel to New Zealand in 2019. On Wednesday, the Princess was pictured wearing a mask as she visited the National Crisis Management Centre in the basement bunker of the Beehive (the New Zealand parliament buildings). [The Princess Royal](https://www.hellomagazine.com/tags/princess-anne/) said her "thoughts with all New Zealanders" affected by Cyclone Gabrielle as she landed in the country for her four-day visit.
