Quantum causality emerging in a delayed-choice quantum Cheshire ... (Nature.com)

We report an experiment with neutrons in a silicon perfect crystal interferometer, that realizes a quantum Cheshire Cat in a delayed choice setting.

[arxiv:1409.0808](http://arxiv.org/abs/1409.0808). For each detected neutron one of the following decision is made: a) if the neutron is detected and the voltage level is high (\(+\pi /2\) spin rotation), the event is used for \({ The current necessary for a \(+\pi /2\) or \(-\pi /2\) flip was \(I=\pm {2.25}{A}\). ( [5](/articles/s41598-023-29970-6#Equ6)), are: [1](/articles/s41598-023-29970-6#Equ1)). {\Psi ^+_f}\rangle }\) post-selection) for state being one respectively the \(-\pi /2\) voltage (\({ ( [9](/articles/s41598-023-29970-6#Equ10)) the expected intensities can be calculated (see [26](/articles/s41598-023-29970-6#ref-CR26)). In particular the rotations of \(\frac{\pi }{9}\) in path I and \(- \frac{\pi }{9}\) in path II are applied, thus enabling a weak interaction of the neutrons with a magnetic field. Powell throws a cat among the pigeons (FXStreet)

Currencies and metals get whacked on Tuesday. What's going on at the Perth Mint? Good Day… And a Wonderful Wednesday to you! Well, a successful transf.

The weather people say a cold front is coming, and the temps will only be in the 70’s… Data Cupboard yesterday, had the Powell testimony day one, and today will be day two, to the other side of the Hill… Georgia Power said Unit 3 would continue startup testing to show that its cooling system and steam supply system will work at the intense heat and pressure that a nuclear reactor creates. The price of Oil is steady with a $77 handle, and the 10-year lost the 4% yield overnight, but this has got to end soon, all this bond buying… And on the way to toward combating inflation…Remember, it is my contention that the interest rate must be greater than the rate of inflation to make a difference. Circling back to the chairman’s claim that interest rates will have to go higher than expected… The price of Oil slid $3 yesterday, after hitting $80 to end last week, the price of Oil ended the day with a $77 handle… The Head Fed, Powell, has said that inflation is still above their 2% target, and that interest rates will have to go higher… Silver was treated even worse, and lost 99-cents on the day to end the day at $20.15… Gold lost $33.20 on the day yesterday, and ended the day at $1.814.30… A long time ago, so that we could have done away with all the middling 25 Basis Points Rate Hikes, and gotten to the meat of the real rate hikes, like 75 Basis Points or 100 Basis Points! I hadn’t had a nap in over a week, and it was beginning to get to me!

"People need more information and support for managing their cats during this time as no one should have to give up a much loved pet during a time of crisis.” “We’ve launched a new information hub with lots of tips and ideas for looking after your cat on a budget, with everything from how to make free cat toys to how to access help with costs such as neutering. One in three cat owners said they felt "greatly impacted" by soaring costs but one in five (18%) admitted to spending less on vet services, a survey of over 3000 cat owners showed.

What ever became of the cat in 'The Diary of Anne Frank'? (Forward)

On Broadway, Mouschi the cat lived with the Franks and Van Daans in the secret annex. But what happened to the animal afterwards?

“Mouschi was the happiest cat in the world,” Press told me. “So that was the end of the cat taking a curtain call.” “He did not like the changes that were being made.” “He didn’t care for me and I didn’t like him, so he spent most of his time in a little caged box,” Margolin told me. And that was that.” [Playing Anne Frank,](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/playing-anne-frank/id1663964479) our podcast about how The Diary of Anne Frank changed the lives of the people who brought it to Broadway, Hollywood, and the rest of the world.

The highest-rated attraction in this Polish city is a cat (Time Out)

Gacek the 'King of Kaszubska Street' in Szczecin, Poland, has a near-perfect rating from users on Google. Ed Cunningham. Written by.

The weight is apparently a bit of a problem – recently, visitors have been urged to leave any gift treats in sealed packages so that Gacek’s owner can control his diet. And a pretty brill one, at that. That’s right, thousands of Google reviewers reckon that there’s no better attraction in Szczecin than a cat named Gacek, who lives on a road just south of the city centre. Plump cat aside, this northwest Polish port city is known for its dazzling Ducal Castle, towering Gothic cathedral, and marvellous mish-mash of historic architectural styles. Dubbed the ‘King of Kaszubska Street’, Gacek has been gaining admirers – and even drawing international visitors – since 2020. The top-rated attraction in this city of nearly 400,000 people isn’t some museum, park or palace but...

Cat Adoption Team works to connect homeless cats with loving new families and to support those relationships over time. He's not a party animal, he prefers smaller gatherings of his favorite people. He's a bit bashful in new situations, in time he shows you his affectionate and playful side. He hops, swipes and catches that feather like a pro! When he's all tuckered out he enjoys quiet cozy spots, or a nice warm lap. He absolutely loves a good feather wand play session.

Dogs believed to be behind spate of Pukekohe cat killings caught ... (Stuff.co.nz)

Two dogs that have been terrorising moggies and evading dog catchers for months in south Auckland are now off the streets.

It was important to supply as many details as possible, including descriptions of the dogs and owners, and any supporting details such as an address where the dog was last seen, he said. He has since had a meeting with the community to address the problem of roaming dogs in the area. “The two dogs were classified as menacing breeds and as such, we were unable to rehome these dogs to anyone other than the owner.” While the dogs couldn’t be directly linked to the attacks through DNA, they matched the descriptions of witnesses, as well as a video of two dogs walking around with a dead cat hanging from one of their mouths. Since then, Animal Control has caught two dogs matching the description of the roaming animals. Saskatoon SPCA launches office foster cat program | CBC News (CBC.ca)

"It reduces stress and anxiety within the workplace," said Madison Friesen, the volunteer and foster care co-ordinator with the SPCA.

The SPCA asks that all people working in the office are informed about the decision to foster a cat. The SPCA provides all supplies and medical care for fostered cats, and will work with an office to make sure the animal is a good fit for the culture. Jaimie Svennes, Century 21 office administrator, said foster cat Misty is a great addition to the business and immediately resulted in less office stress.
