Thunderstorm likely in south Bengal districts (The Indian Express)

According to officials, this is the season for torrential downpours accompanied by localised thunderstorms.

The Met office said 10 south Bengal districts โ€“ including Murshidabad, Birbhum, Paschim Burdwan, Medinipur, Jhargram, Jalpaiguri, Dinajpur and Malda โ€“ may experience gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph along with light rain. These thunderstorms are accompanied by winds at 30-40 kmph and rainfall,โ€ said an official.
