Can Warriors get back on track at home against Bucks and Suns? (The Mercury News)

But the two-game home stand won't be easy. They have Giannis Antetokounmpo and the first-place Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday and Western Conference rival Phoenix ...

The Warriors are 0-1 against the Bucks this season, losing to them in Milwaukee in December. The Warriors are 0-3 against Phoenix this season, including one loss at home. Durant has played the Warriors at Chase Center once during his 1-1/2 year tenure with the Brooklyn Nets, but it was without fans in the stands due to the COVID-19 restrictions. Curry in particular will have to deal Jrue Holiday, one of the better Curry defenders where very few exist. But the Warriors will have their hands full if Antetokounmpo plays. No team in the NBA has a more drastic split between home and away records than the Warriors: They’re 27-7 at Chase Center and 7-27 on the road this season.

NBA: Golden State Warriors hosts Milwaukee Bucks in heavyweight ... (Sportstar)

Warriors have won six in a row at home, five coming on its most recent homestand when they rallied from behind five straight times.

“I thought there were plays right away where we didn’t get into the ball (en route to falling behind by 20 points in the first quarter),” Kerr observed. It wasn’t the first time the two-time MVP has struggled against Green. Green, who has battled his rival almost to a standstill on the boards in those games (7.5-7.1), has gotten the better of Antetokounmpo in assists (5.9-4.5) and steals (1.5-1.3) in leading Golden State to seven wins in the 11 contests. That’s the best way I can describe it.” While they should be comforted in returning to the site of 27 wins in 34 games, the Warriors likely will do so once again without Andrew Wiggins, who has missed 10 straight games while tending to personal matters, and Gary Payton II, who has sat out 12 in a row because of abdominal issues. As they embark on a three-game Western swing, the Bucks have won three in a row, including two straight over the Orlando Magic and Brooklyn Nets with Antetokounmpo sidelined by a sore right hand.
