A man has been taken into Police custody without incident.” A police spokesperson said: “Police and the Eagle helicopter have been in attendance at an address in Helensville, after receiving a report at 6.51am of a family harm related matter. A man is in custody after police responded to a report of family harm in a town northwest of Auckland.

Police said they were called to a Helensville property just before 7am. An Eagle helicopter also responded to the incident.
