Bex Hill admits excitement got the better of her when she fell victim to a Thermomix Trade Me scam and lost $1120 - but now she's shutting the scammer down.

“I used it for 15 years and I have never in my life been tricked in any way or lost any money up until now. I feel like I’m a friend now, so I usually start with ‘hi, me again’,” she said. “Honestly, I used to think how on Earth do people fall for this? * Once she discovered she had lost her money, she started reporting the seller to Trade Me but said the response was “so slack its almost a waste of time”. Bex Hill says, when she fell victim to a Thermomix scam on Trade Me and lost $1120, she decided to take matters into her own hands to try to stop the seller from scamming others.
